World Market is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a high-performance team and drive sales in a dynamic retail environment. You will partner with the Store Manager to uphold brand standards, manage daily priorities, and foster exceptional customer experiences.

You will coach associates, monitor trends with reports, and ensure policies are followed while maintaining a safe store and strong loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience delivering results in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
• Excellent communication and the ability to accept feedback.
• Capable of in-the-moment coaching to store associates.
• Skilled at de-escalating store and customer situations.
• Ability to plan and prioritize based on business needs.
• Strong sense of urgency and action orientation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Creative problem solving to meet goals.
• Sound decision-making and judgment under pressure.
• Delegation skills to develop a high-performance team.
• Ability to execute daily priorities efficiently.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in fast-paced retail preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Minimum age: 21 years
