World Market is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a customer-first selling culture, drive sales, and manage daily priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will work with the Store Manager to develop a high-performance team that embodies our values and brand standards.

You will recruit and coach staff, interpret trends from reports, and ensure loss prevention and safety policies are followed. Flexible scheduling and extensive training support your career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in fast-paced specialty retail preferred
• Strong communication and coaching skills to develop a high-performance team
• Ability to analyze trends and translate insights into action
• Proven ability to lead customer-first selling culture and achieve sales goals
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead a customer-first selling culture with engagement and loyalty initiatives
• Analyze business trends and use reports to identify opportunities and take action
• Uphold World Market values, brand, policies, and standards
• Plan and execute daily tasks in partnership with the Store Manager
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance team through training and recognition
