World Market is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales, lead a high-performance team, and uphold our brand, policies, and operational standards. You will contribute to a customer-first selling culture while managing daily priorities in partnership with the Store Manager.

Your responsibilities include coaching, planning daily tasks, maintaining loss prevention, and ensuring a safe, engaging store environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum age: 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement, customer loyalty initiatives, visual standards, and brand values.
• Analyze business trends to problem-solve opportunities and take action.
• Plan for and execute daily tasks and duties in the Store Manager's absence.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team.
• Utilize company tools and training resources to validate team execution of key functions.
• Maintain Loss Prevention policies and inventory management initiatives.
• Support a safe work environment through ongoing safety training and accountability.
