World Market is hiring an Assistant Manager to lead a high-performance team and drive sales and profitability. You will partner with the Store Manager to foster a customer-first culture while upholding brand values, policies, and standards.

The role covers Customer Experience, Freight Flow, Operations and Merchandising based on business needs and your strengths. You will recruit, coach, and develop staff, ensuring timely execution of daily priorities and adherence to loss prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience delivering results, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Ability to plan and prioritize according to the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement, customer loyalty initiatives, visual standards, and brand values.
• Analyze business trends utilizing reporting to problem-solve opportunities and take appropriate action.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team.
• Plan for and execute daily business tasks in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Utilize tools and training resources to educate and validate team execution of key functions.
