New Balance in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time Retail Team Lead to guide the sales floor, coach associates, and drive store results. You will lead by example, support scheduling, and ensure a world-class guest experience through our GUEST service model.

This role requires leadership ability, strong customer service, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. You will recruit and interview top talent while maintaining safety and store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive store results through training and development of staff.
• May assist store manager with scheduling and floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Ensure operational readiness: opening/closing, inventory control, procedures.
• Involved in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations, including lifting procedures.
