Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking a full-time Retail Team Lead to open/close the store, drive results, and deliver a world-class guest experience. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies and supervise the sales floor with coaching and professional communication.

Responsibilities include creating schedules, floor moves, inventory control, and participating in recruiting top talent. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and flexibility for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates.
• Be results driven in achieving store KPIs through training and development of associates.
• May assist store manager in creating the schedule and leading floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience utilizing the GUEST service model.
• Be operationally sound, opening/closing the store, inventory control, and procedures.
• Be involved in recruiting/interviewing/hiring of top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures.
