New Balance Athletics in Asheville, NC is seeking a Retail Team Lead to open/close the store, drive results, and deliver a world-class guest experience. You will lead by example through the company's core competencies while supporting the Retail Leadership Team.

The role requires 18+, 2 years of retail supervisory experience, a high school diploma, demonstrated leadership, and strong communication. You must be flexible with schedule and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years' retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive store results by training and developing team members.
• Assist with scheduling and lead floor moves when needed.
• Deliver strong guest experiences using the GUEST service model.
• Maintain store operations including opening/closing and inventory control.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations and assist with orderly procedures.
