Job summary

New Balance in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Retail Team Lead. You will lead by example on the floor, coach associates, and drive results while delivering a world-class guest experience.

The role supports opening/closing the store and hands-on operational duties, training staff to achieve KPIs. The ideal candidate has 2+ years retail supervisory experience, excellent communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive results by training and developing staff to hit KPIs.
• Assist store manager with scheduling and floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Maintain store operations, inventory control, and procedures.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing and hiring top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations and lifting procedures.
