Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead in Rochester, MN. You will greet customers, assist with solutions, maintain in-stock merchandise, and uphold an organized sales floor while promoting credit card programs and service plans.

You will lead customer engagement, supervise floor operations as Floor Leader (roughly 25% of the time), and support store leadership. Must have retail experience, leadership ability, flexible schedule including weekends/holidays, strong

Qualifications

At least 1 year of retail experience.
Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
A love of tools & equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to lift 70 Lbs.
Service focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, preserving a courteous and professional environment.
Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while actively performing the role of a sales representative.
Maintain a neat and orderly store, execute merchandising plans and stock shelves.
Lead by example and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (about 25% of time) and opening/closing the store.
