Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment in Denton, TX is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead to greet and assist customers, keep in-stock merchandise organized, and support store operations.

You will lead customer engagement and sales efforts, act as a sales representative, and ensure a neat, well-merchandised floor. This role includes mentoring teammates and serving as Floor Leader on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 Lbs.
• Service focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
• Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while actively performing the role of a sales representative.
• Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including the execution of merchandising, planograms, product displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (an average of 25% of time) and opening and closing the store.
