Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead to greet and assist customers, maintain in-stock merchandise, and promote credit and protection plans. You will support management with daily store operations while upholding a clean, organized sales floor and effective merchandising strategies.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and flexibility to work some weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability including some weekends and holidays.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Service focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
• Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while actively performing the role of a sales representative.
• Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including merchandising, planograms, product displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (average of 25% of time) and opening/closing the store.
