Job summary

Northern Tool is seeking a Retail Operations Team Lead in Texas to greet customers, maintain stock, and keep the sales floor organized. The role also involves promoting our credit card program, selling protection plans, and supporting daily store operations.

Open availability and a customer-focused attitude are essential. You will lead operations, mentor teammates, and support leadership by acting as Floor Leader and handling opening/closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
• To lead and execute key operational functions to ensure store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall store readiness.
• Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including the execution of merchandising, planograms, product displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (an average of 25% of time) and opening and closing the store.
