Job summary

Northern Tool is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead to greet customers, provide solutions, and keep the sales floor organized and in stock while partnering with the management team to run day-to-day store operations. Lead customer engagement and sales efforts as a frontline sales rep, mentor associates, and occasionally open or close the store, averaging 25% Floor Leader time.

Spanish language skills are preferred and the role requires at least 1 year of retail experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work on some weekends and holidays as needed.
• A love of tools & equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to best serve customer needs.
• Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while performing as a sales representative.
• Maintain a neat, orderly store environment including merchandising, planograms, product displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (about 25% of time) and opening/closing the store.
