Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to assist in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations, ensuring 100% policy compliance and leading staff under Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager direction.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, training staff, handling POS and transactions, inventory, merchandising, scheduling, payroll, and loss prevention, with ongoing leadership responsibilities when managers are absent.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising store operations.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of POS, inventory controls, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Lead customer shopping experience and service standards.
• Oversee POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and till procedures.
• Manage inventory, pricing, markdowns, and physical inventory.
• Lead visual merchandising, floor upkeep, promotions signage.
• Handle scheduling, payroll budgeting, and time/attendance.
• Train and develop direct reports per company policies.
• Prevent loss by enforcing policies and asset protection.
• Oversee day-to-day operations with Store Manager guidance.
