Job summary

The Salvation Army Visalia Thrift Store is hiring for a Retail Team role to deliver excellent customer service, manage store operations, and contribute to program goals. You will promote a positive shopping experience while supporting ARC participants and program staff.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse donors and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and POS operations.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive sales and profitability.
• Provide mentoring to Beneficiaries participating in Work Therapy Assignments.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with ARC policy and regulations.
