Job summary

The Salvation Army Salinas Thrift Store is seeking a Sales Lead to assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening, closing, POS use, inventory, and donations. You will help drive sales and maintain excellent donor service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of retail experience, supervisory experience preferred, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening/closing and POS.
• Schedule employees and coordinate morning and shift changes.
• Monitor performance metrics to drive sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer and donor satisfaction.
• Protect store currency, inventory, and property; maintain security.
• Maintain ARC policy and safety procedures.
