Job summary

The Salvation Army - Corona is seeking a Lead Sales to join the ARC HR team in our thrift store. This part-time position partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage donations, and deliver outstanding service while supporting rehabilitation programs.

You will open/close the store, handle POS and inventory, schedule staff, coach employees, and safeguard cash and merchandise. A rewarding role with growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year retail experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Open/close procedures, POS operations, inventory management and rotation.
• Meet store sales and income budgets; mentor employees and implement work therapy assignments.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage; lead daily team meetings and coaching.
• Protect currency, inventory and property; ensure security and safety compliance.
• Maintain excellent customer and donor service and strengthen community relations.
