Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in West Covina, CA is seeking a Part-time Sales Lead to assist the Store Manager in daily operations and lead retail staff. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer and donor service, training employees, and maintaining inventory and loss prevention measures.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of retail experience with supervisory exposure preferred, and must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year retail experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).

Responsibilities

• Take an active role with Store Manager in day-to-day store operation.
• Assume responsibility for all operations in the absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Provide coaching and development to Store Employees.
• Ensure customer/donor needs are met and inquiries resolved promptly.
• Coordinate daily meetings and ensure adequate store coverage.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform Back Room Processing as needed.
• Oversee Donation Attendants and safeguard cash handling per policy.
