LensCrafters in Chicago is seeking a Team Lead to drive exceptional customer service and retail excellence. The role oversees key optical and lab processes, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient store operations.

You will guide staff, assist customers with selections, and support sales teams while maintaining high standards of eyewear accuracy and patient care. This position emphasizes leadership and hands-on training in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills and problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assists sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• Lab duties: Custom fits glasses and place prescription in lenses.
• Train staff on lens and lab processes.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Create a safe working environment and maintain lab tools and systems.
