LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Full-Time Team Lead to drive exceptional customer service and oversee key optical and lab processes in our store in Machesney Park, IL. The role blends retail leadership with lab duties when applicable, including coaching staff and ensuring high optical standards.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, strong optical/retail experience, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong communicator and listener with interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.
• Familiar with cash register, computers, and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
• Be proactive, solution-driven with accurate product knowledge.
• Assist customers with selections and recommendations; support sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• When in lab mode, manage basic lab operations and safety.
