Job summary

Intuit is seeking on-site TurboTax Retail Experts in California to assist customers with tax preparation, advice, and software support at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations. You will engage with the local community, grow client relationships, and provide friendly, accurate tax services in a front-facing retail environment.

The role requires tax expertise, PTIN, and active licenses where applicable, with a flexible 20 hours per week schedule.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador representing TurboTax locally.
• Provide tax advice and complete preparation services for customers, including complex scenarios.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience and help clients achieve financial goals.
