Job summary

Intuit in California is seeking a TurboTax Retail Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location, serving in-person customers with tax expertise and software support. You will build relationships and grow the local client base while delivering accurate tax preparation and helpful advisory services.

This non-exempt, retail role requires at least 3 years of tax-prep experience, relevant licenses, and comfort working Sundays through Saturdays.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
Must have PTIN to file taxes.
Must hold or obtain relevant State licenses/certificates.
Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 1040s (federal and state) per season with professional software.
Familiarity with Circular 230.
Must be onsite at a TurboTax location, Sunday–Saturday, 20 hours/week minimum.
Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
Leverage government resources and team expertise for accurate tax solutions.
Provide a best-in-class customer experience to help clients reach financial goals.
Grow the TurboTax client base in the local community with marketing support.
