Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax - Retail Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in California.

You will perform full service tax preparation, provide tax advice, and help customers navigate complex tax situations while growing Intuit’s client base in the local community. The role requires an active, unrestricted EA/CPA or attorney license, PTIN, and a minimum of 20 hours per week onsite.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador and engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine care for clients' financial goals.
• Interact with customers in-person and through Intuit’s video communication tools; address inquiries and assist with tax-related challenges.
