Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Associate Manager on the Strategy & Operations team to build new Retail products from the ground up, identifying right-to-win areas and coordinating with product, design, analytics, and engineering to launch. This role blends strategy, operations, and product with hands-on prototyping and AI-enabled tooling.

We operate in a hybrid model with some in-person days each month; you’ll report to a Senior Manager in Retail Strategy & Operations.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience in analytical, cross‑functional environments.
• 2+ years solving problems to build & scale products in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Owner mindset with a bias for action and taking ownership of outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build from the ground up.
• Analytical with ability to pull data in SQL, build Excel models and leverage AI tools.
• Comfort operating at both high-level strategy and detailed execution.
• Bachelor’s degree completed.

Responsibilities

• Strategize from first principles to define optimal strategies for serving customers and merchants.
• Operate by creating tracking dashboards and owning week-over-week movement and quarterly targets.
• Analyze using SQL, Excel, and AI tools to evaluate costs and benefits of programs.
• Experiment by turning strategies into operational experiments with measurable outcomes.
• Build new products across DoorDash Retail, contributing to end-to-end launches.
• Lead, collaborate and influence cross-functional teams to scale Retail initiatives.
