Job summary

DoorDash is hiring an Associate Manager on the Strategy & Operations team to build new Retail products, partner with product, design, analytics, and engineering, and scale initiatives from idea to launch. The role blends strategy, operations, and product work, with a focus on rapid prototyping, user research, and leveraging AI tools to improve workflows.

You will work in a hybrid model, reporting to a Senior Manager on the Retail Strategy & Operations team as an individual contributor.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience in analytical, cross‑functional environments.
• Scrappy thinker with problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced settings.
• Owner mindset: take initiative and own outcomes, both good and bad.

Responsibilities

• Strategize from first principles to define the optimal path for serving customers and merchants.
• Operate by creating tracking dashboards and owning week‑over‑week and quarterly metrics.
• Analyze using SQL, Excel, and AI tools to evaluate costs and benefits of programs.
• Experiment by turning strategies into measurable, actionable experiments.
• Build new products and scale initiatives from concept to launch.
• Lead and influence cross‑functional teams across growth, design, marketing, partnerships, and product.
