Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking an Assistant Manager at a retail location to contribute to the mission by maximizing financial results, store appearance, customer experience and associate satisfaction.

As a manager, you will model professionalism, supervise designated staff, engage in onboarding, meetings and performance reviews, and ensure compliance with safety, training and reporting standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; will consider a combination of education and work experience.
• 2 years' leadership experience required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsabilidades

• Identify work to be done, prioritize, delegate and develop associates.
• Promote exceptional customer service standards with staff and customers.
• Support onboarding, monthly meetings and performance check-ins.
• Solicit customer and associate feedback and act on it.
• Recognize and reward positive behaviors and results.
• Maximize donated goods value and ensure efficient processing.
• Adhere to pricing, rotation, scheduling and returns procedures.
• Maintain professional dress, presentation and housekeeping standards.
• Submit closing, accident, risk training and Kronos reports on time.
• Ensure security of company assets and use reports to identify trends.
• Communicate promptly with supervisor and management on issues.
