Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure 100% policy compliance. The role provides leadership, guidance, and training to staff under the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, with full responsibility in their absence.

The Team Lead will strive to meet sales, service, and operational objectives while managing safety, customer experience, and staff development in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Lead customer service excellence and train staff under direction from Store Manager.
• Oversee POS transactions, sales, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures.
• Manage inventory controls including shipping/receiving, pricing, and stock counts.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards and promotional signage across the sales floor.
• Monitor payroll-related scheduling and attendance, and assist with budget adherence.
