Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago seeks a Retail Supervisor to assist with the store and donation center operations, motivating the team to deliver a positive customer experience and meet production standards.

You will support merchandising, coach engaging customer interactions, and ensure safe, efficient store operations with proper cash controls. Two years of supervisory experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to complete and retain forklift certification.
• Work varied schedule; minimum two closing shifts per week and every other weekend.
• Must have working phone for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise store and donation center operations.
• Motivate the team to meet customer satisfaction and revenue goals.
• Support merchandising efforts and coaching for engaging customer interactions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and programs.
• Oversee training and coaching of employees to maximize productivity.
• Maintain safe and orderly work environment and safe equipment use.
• Oversee cash controls and register operations at POS.
• Assist with hiring processes; conduct phone screens and training as needed.
• Coordinate proper rotation of goods to maintain fresh merchandise flow.
• Monitor loss prevention policies and apprehensions per guidelines.
• Capture and report data accurately in required reports.
