Job summary

Safelite Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage staff, scheduling, inventory, and cash handling while driving performance against KPIs.

The role requires 3+ years in retail/service leadership, strong communication, and the ability to motivate a mobile workforce. Automotive experience is preferred; safety and compliance are essential. Benefits and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent OR 5-7 years leadership/supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience with an innovative approach toward incenting performance.
• 3-5 years of experience in retail or service center environments; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, web applications, and general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, work order management, Check-In/Check-Out procedures, customer service, staffing and scheduling, inventory management and cash handling.
• Drive team performance to meet or exceed KPI targets and company goals, including Net Promoter Score, Time to Serve, job completion, customer conversion and quality metrics, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ensure technicians are SafeTech certified and that quality installs/repairs are performed through training and coaching.
• Provide guidance on vehicle and equipment maintenance and collaborate with marketing to display materials.
• Respond to client complaints/warranty issues with world-class service.
• All other duties as assigned.
