Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking aStore Manager for our Chandler Thrift Store to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver excellent donor/customer experiences. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and implement loss-prevention measures while ensuring compliance with policies.

This role requires strong retail leadership, at least 2 years of supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Retail Management/Supervisory experience.
• Ability to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must have a valid Driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the store location.
• Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
• Maintain good Customer/Donor/Community relations and ensure timely, efficient service.
• Schedule store employees to ensure appropriate coverage and coordinate daily shift meetings.
• Supervise employees to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Interview and process hiring of new store employees; provide training on policies and procedures.
• Issue disciplinary warnings and conduct evaluations and set goals.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate Rag Out from the sales floor.
• Oversee Back Room Processing to meet daily goals and safeguard cash handling.
