Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store here in the community seeks a dynamic Store Manager to lead a busy location. You will oversee staff, drive sales, maintain standards, and uphold our mission while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating recruiting and training, scheduling, payroll, donation flow, pricing and presentation, safety compliance, and regular reporting to leadership. You will foster a positive shopping experience and community impact.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in staff management and development.
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early/late shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English for effective communication.
• Basic computer skills including POS, payroll program, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff recruitment, training, and supervision to meet store goals.
• Oversee scheduling and payroll processing; enforce company policies.
• Develop and implement strategies for production and sales goals; manage donations and presentation.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance, and store maintenance.
• Maintain open communication with Regional Manager and Department Heads; provide daily reports.
