Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Store Manager for our Blackstone Thrift Store. You will oversee daily operations and drive customer service, donor relations, and store performance.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail management experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to manage cash and staff. We offer a robust benefits package and a supportive team dedicated to Do The Most Good.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years Retail Management/Supervisory experience.
• Ability to handle POS/Cash transactions.
• Valid Driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Must pass background check.
• Effective communication with staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Develop strategies to improve customer service and profitability.
• Maintain customer/donor relations; resolve complaints.
• Schedule employees and coordinate daily meetings.
• Supervise staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Interview and hire new store employees.
• Train staff on store policies and procedures.
• Ensure inventory and Back Room Processing are managed.
• Maintain cash handling and banking per policy.
• Lead monthly district/store meetings and safety initiatives.
• Implement loss prevention measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
