Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a retail team in delivering exceptional customer service and sales performance. You will oversee daily store operations, staff development, and adherence to brand standards, while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive environment for customers and teammates.

Your role includes executing selling strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring a high-quality store presentation in line with company policy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when Store Manager is away.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting; regular follow up.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings in the Manager’s absence.
• Create a fun, productive team environment and reinforce company standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage during peak periods.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, inventory security, and store controls.
• Open to accommodate other duties as assigned.
