Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive store performance. You’ll oversee scheduling, training, and adherence to brand standards while ensuring a fun, inclusive environment and meeting key results.

You will manage daily operations, merchandising, inventory, cash handling, and store readiness, with a focus on loss prevention and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while preventing loss.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication and hospitality skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and complaints.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations.
• Maintain merchandising standards and brand presentation.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy and store opening/closing procedures.
• Support inventory counts and product replenishment.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful team environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalations.
