Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, develop Teammates, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. The role includes coaching, merchandising, recruiting, and training while maintaining Buckle standards and policies.

This position progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, with responsibilities expanding to leadership duties during the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations, including guest service, merchandising, and end-of-shift procedures.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates; lead by example and coach others to meet Buckle standards.
• Execute sales goals, maintain visual standards, and ensure loss-prevention practices are followed.
• Support leadership in scheduling, performance feedback, and store initiatives to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
