Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to work alongside the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, merchandising, and guest service. This role includes recruiting and developing Teammates, training them to meet Buckle standards, and serving as acting Store Manager in their absence.

It is a progression from the AIT position with expanded responsibilities. The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, and delivering a top-tier shopping experience while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service to each Guest.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Lead by example with showmanship, exceptional customer service, and attentiveness.
• Recruit, train, and develop Teammates; assist in leadership development and store management in the Manager's absence.
• Plan sales goals with Store Manager and drive performance across the sales floor.
• Oversee Visual Merchandising and zone ownership to maintain an appealing store presentation.
• Support Operations through scheduling, security awareness, POS procedures, and policy adherence.

Education
