Job summary

Old Navy at Gap Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and team, driving profitable sales through customer-centric operations, merchandising, and talent development.

You will support the store strategy with your General Manager and coach leaders to deliver a best-in-class experience for customers. You will recruit and develop Brand Associates, Experts, and Leaders, ensuring consistent procedures, and leveraging omni-channel capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
• Strong communication and people development skills.
• Comfort with lifting up to 30 pounds and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitable growth through customer-centric operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Lead service and brand standards.
• Coach and mentor Leads and team to high performance.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM to deliver the store strategy.
• Leverage omni-channel tools to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain compliance and store procedures.
