Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales, and lead a team through coaching and development. You will manage customer operations, merchandising, and talent growth while collaborating with the General Manager to execute the store strategy and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You will recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts, maximize efficiencies, perform Service Leader duties, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the store and the team, bringing the brand to life for customers.
• Drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising and talent development.
• Support execution of store strategy with GM/AGM to achieve performance goals.
• Coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Partner with leadership to hire, coach and develop team members.
• Ensure consistent operation procedures and omni-channel implementation.
• Represent the brand, monitor competition and retail landscape, and promote community involvement.
• Maintain compliance standards and flexibility to meet business needs.
