Job summary

Old Navy, part of Gap Inc., is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and team, driving profitable sales through customer engagement, merchandising and talent development. You will coach Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best‑in‑class experience.

You’ll partner with the General Manager to execute store strategy, manage operations, and ensure high standards in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently or previously employed in retail with 1–3 years of management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends and potential overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales through a customer‑centric approach and effective operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts to build a high‑performing team.
• Own assigned area, implement action plans and uphold standard operating procedures.
• Lead Service Leader duties and promote omni‑channel execution for a seamless customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with all standards and policies.
