Job summary

Victra - Verizon Authorized Retailer is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a sales team and drive outstanding customer experiences in a retail store. You will coach, mentor, and develop your team to consistently meet sales goals while managing daily store operations.

You will be responsible for training staff, resolving customer issues, and ensuring inventory control, merchandising, and compliance.

Qualifications

Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead your team by resolving customer issues and assisting with customer transactions.
Set and share daily/weekly/monthly goals with sales teams.
Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Identify selling skill gaps and develop plans to meet sales metrics.
Monitor inventory and store upkeep, planogram compliance, and store security.
Open/close store operations and ensure store uptime.
