Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily sales floor operations at the Walkersville, MD location. You will guide team members, manage customer service, and ensure store standards align with Goodwill branding while driving sales objectives.

The role requires at least one year of retail management and customer service experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Travel to other GCNA stores may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in retail management.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
• Monitors floor stock and back stock levels to hit sales targets.
• Ensures payroll and operating costs stay within budget.
• Delivers excellent customer service to donors and shoppers, resolving issues.
• Acts as key holder and closing shift manager, backup to Store Manager.
• Willing to travel to other GCNA locations for coverage and training.
