Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is hiring a Retail Store Manager in Sykesville, MD to lead the sales floor, drive daily operations, and achieve set sales goals for GCNA and affiliated entities. You will direct the team, build high-performing staff, and uphold Goodwill branding.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, inventory, cash handling, customer service, staff mentoring, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• One-year work experience in Retail Management or higher.
• One-year customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for profit and revenue on the sales floor.
• Direct daily operations and supervise Retail Sales Associates.
• Maintain inventory, deposits and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers and de-escalate issues.
• Maintain store cleanliness and reflect Goodwill branding.
• Coach and develop team members; manage performance and engagement.
• Ensure health, safety, and security compliance.
