Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is hiring for a Retail Store Manager role to lead daily sales floor operations across GCNA locations. You will drive sales goals, manage production, and coach a team of store associates and a customer service manager.

The role requires prior retail management, customer service experience, and strong organizational skills. You will travel to other GCNA stores for support and training; a background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail management experience.
• 1 year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail ops plan to meet revenue and production targets.
• Monitors inventory levels and floor stock daily to hit budgets.
• Manages payroll and operating costs to stay within budget.
• Ensures excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• De-escalates customer issues and resolves conflicts.
• Maintains clean, well-kept stores that reflect the Goodwill brand.
• Partner with community organizations to promote mission.
• Lead day-to-day operations and ensure staff coverage.
• Train and supervise Store Team Members; act as key holder/back up to Store Manager.
• Process complex sales transactions and returns.
• Travel to GCNA locations for training and coverage.
