Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley in Frederick, MD is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to drive store operations, lead the team, and deliver on financial targets. You will oversee production, donations processing, and customer service across a store network, while partnering with district leadership to maximize 지역 performance.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail management experience, preferably thrift.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen where applicable.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plans to meet income, revenue, and production goals.
• Coordinate with Retail District Manager on strategic donation initiatives.
• Monitor product levels daily to hit sales budgets.
• Manage payroll and operating costs within budget.
• Ensure excellent customer service by team members.
• Keep store locations clean and aligned with the Goodwill brand.
• Partner with community organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance and serve as community ambassador.
• Be flexible to transfer or cover shifts across stores as needed.
• Train and develop team members; manage performance and reviews.

Education

Two years retail management experience

One-year customer service experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license & clean MVR
