Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley in Westminster, MD is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead daily sales floor operations and drive store performance. You will supervise team members, ensure excellent donor and customer service, and coordinate with support areas to maintain budgeted payroll and expenses.

As a key holder and backup to the Store Manager, you will travel to other GCNA locations as needed, deliver training, and uphold Goodwill brand standards while promoting community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• One-year work experience in Retail Management is required.
• One-year customer service experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily sales floor operations to meet income and production goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and floor appearance to support sales targets.
• Manage payroll costs and operating expenses within budget.
• Deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Lead and train store team Members; de-escalate customer situations.
• Serve as key holder and backup to Store Manager; close shifts.
• Coordinate with support areas to ensure policy compliance; travel to other GCNA locations as needed.
