Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to uphold security and deliver strong customer service within our store. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and support loss-prevention initiatives to reduce theft opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor the store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to deter theft and maintain safety.
• Greet every customer with a warm, confident, and energetic greeting.
• Identify theft incidents or suspicious activity and report to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and safety procedures.
