Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to help run daily store operations and support our mission. You will lead a team, deliver strong customer service, and ensure accurate cash handling during your shift.

The role involves opening/closing the store, supervising associates, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining merchandising and inventory controls. A positive, community-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year retail experience including cashiering and inventory duties.
• Ability to lead and direct team members.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willing to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations during assigned shift.
• Open and close retail store.
• Delegate tasks and supervise associates.
• Provide excellent customer service and process refunds.
• Complete daily financial reports and stock duties.
• Operate POS system and assist with inventory.
