Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England stores seek a reliable Store Associate to support daily operations, assist customers and donors, and help with pricing and display of donated goods. You will work with a team to meet production goals while maintaining a clean, safe retail environment.

The role includes weekend and holiday shifts as part of retail operations, with training provided and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Maximize used goods processing through sorting, preparing and pricing items for sale.
• Ensure store and premises are neat, clean and orderly and safe, reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assist Store Manager in training new employees and maintaining production areas for easy operations.
• Close out register, confirm cash amounts and make nightly deposits as required.
• Maintain store records and report any fraud suspicions.
