Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking a Retail Key Holder/Shift Leader to support daily store operations, train team members, and deliver a positive shopping experience for customers and donors. As the on-duty shift leader, you will supervise cash handling, POS use, and safety standards while helping the store meet sales goals and embody our values of love, kindness, and respect in every interaction.

Starting wage is $15.50 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily store operations and oversee staff on shift.
• Assist in achieving sales, production, and revenue goals.
• Provide coaching and training to team members.
• Ensure cash handling and POS procedures are followed.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
