Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking a Retail Key Holder/Shift Leader to support daily store operations, train team members, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role acts as a shift leader on duty, directing staff to achieve sales goals while upholding mission-driven service to donors and customers.

Ideal candidates will have prior retail or leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage cash, POS, and barcoding systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling cash and operating POS & barcoding systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and monitor daily store operations.
• Lead as on-duty shift supervisor and ensure coverage.
• Train and coach team members using LMS, mentoring, and job-shadowing.
• Maintain accurate records, banking procedures, and reporting.
